Pujara elected, for the Indian Test Team
In the squad announced for the upcoming home test series against New Zealand,RCB batsman,Cheteshwar Pujara has been sucessful in making his place for the second time after his debut in 2010.
Pujara made his test debut in 2010 against Australia after being in, as a replacement for ‘out of form’ Yuvraj Singh. He made a ‘very crucial’ 72 runs in the fourth innings of his debut test match. And for this he also grabbed the record of bring the fifth indian to score 50+ runs in the fourth innings on debut.
This middle order batsman has a terrific record of hitting three triple centuries prior to 2009.But most of the time he has been ruled out due to severe injuries, one of those was during IPL 2011,during his continuance with Royal Challenger’s Bangalore when an knee injury kept him out of action for nearly a year before returning to domestic cricket at the end of 2011.

Pujara’s recent performance in West Indies for India A team was equally praiseworthy just as his previous performances .In one of the matches during their West Indies tour in June,he made a stunning 96* which took India A team towards a brilliant 2 wicket victory.
Here’s wishing him all the luck & hoping that he continues with his match winning performances in the Indian team as well and rope in many more winning moments for team india in the test series starting Aug 23rd.
