RCB marches into the Play-Offs -  Gayle shines yet again

Chris Gayle attacking batting and Virat Kohli's brilliant captaincy took RCB to yet another superb win against KKR and RCB have gone into the play offs with this superb win.

The lethal RCB bowling attack:

The bowling unit has become the victorious unit for RCB and they have been performing together very well as a unit since last few matches. Even against the RR our bowlers had put up a brilliant show and nothing was to stop them yet again in Chinnaswamy stadium. After Vettori's exit from IPL as for time being due to injury everyone wondered if the bowling unit will become weak, but as we had a good bench strength Langeveldt's inclusion proved to be very very effective for RCB. All the RCB bowlers bowled their heart out and even the rain did not affect their performance against the KKR. Zaheer Khan getting back in his brilliant touch had bowling figures of 3-0-17-1. Langeveldt produced yet another magic in his spell giving away just 10 runs in his 3 overs and taking 2 crucial wickets with his special balls. Arvind who was bowling superbly in all his last outings produced yet another good spell taking 3-0-18-1. even Mithun gave little away in his 2 overs spell.

KKR batsmen found it hard to score any:

The KKR batsmen never looked comfortable against our RCB's deadly attack. They had lost their momentum right from start  losing Kallis and Morgan early after they scored just a few. Even Gambhir and Manoj Tiwary could not stand out the lethal deliveries produced by RCB and got out cheaply. Pathan was the only saving grace for KKR scoring 36 runs of 24 balls but it was not at all enough to help the KKR cause.

Gayle blowed the KKR bowlers away:

After the rain threatened to wash out the match, the play continued as it stopped raining and match was reduced to 13 overs. RCB had a revised target of 102 from 13 overs after KKR had finished at 89 runs in their 13 overs. Gayle walked into the crease along with new batsmen Pomersbach who came in as Dilshan had left for national duties. Gayle continued his merry from and started going bang bang after Lee and Unadkat and scoring massive 38 runs in just 12 balls yet again with 6 fours and 2 six. He just blindly using his skills carted the KKR bowlers and left them all but clueless. Gayle laid the platform and the other RCB batsmen rotated around him well and RCB won in the end.

Having useless players like Sourabh tiwary and Arun karthik in RCB eleven, even Gayle's effort may go in vain, keep them in bench forever
