RCB vs Delhi DareDevils:- Gayle’s herculean strength crushed DD
The Team work that consisted of Chris Gayle 128 runs,Virat Kohli 73 and bowlers and the fielders joint effort won the game for RCB against the Delhi Daredevils by 21 runs.
The news at the toss was captain Virender Sehwag was ill and Morne Morkel was rested. Royal Challengers Bangalore had only 1 change i.e. Parameswaran in place of K P Appanna.
The 200 runs partnership:-
Dilshan went bang bang in the very first over but got out in the 3rd after hitting 2 boundaries. That was the beginning of the havoc that was started to come in from Royal Challengers Bangalore. Chris Gayle and captain Virat Kohli was on their way towards making history. Chris Gayle was in his usual touch and from the very beginning had the mindset of playing full 20 overs and Virat Kohli was spicing up to the things.
Chris Gayle just whacked the balls out of the park whacking 13 massive Sixes and 7 fours and he did not leave any corner of the stadium left untouched. There was no stopping Chris Gayle and he batted on and on and on the other end Virat Kohli too joined the party along with Gayle and had 205 runs partnership between them as they both batted on till the end. Chris Gayle made a mouth watering century scoring 128 in just 62 balls and Virat Kohli too remained unbeaten on 73 of just 53 balls. Even the best of the Delhi Daredevils bowlers were made being looked as ordinary bowlers as though like they had just started their career. Such was the power of Chris Gayle and Captain cool Virat Kohli as Royal Challengers Bangalore reached to a mammoth total of 215 runs for the loss of just 1 wicket.

Bowlers did their Job yet again and Team work won it for RCB:-
It was never going to be too easy to defend even such a big total with players like David Warner,Ross Taylor and addition of Andre Russel in the opposition camp but the RCB bowlers had different plans for them today. As predicted David Warner went from the word go hitting 2 fours and a six but his stay was made short lived by Zaheer Khan who got him out for 15. The top order batsmen could not do much including stand in skipper Mahela and scorecard read as 107-4 at the 12th over.
Ex RCBian Ross Taylor who was woefully out of form came in and stuck some tension in the RCB camp as he found his form at the wrong time making 55 in just 26 balls but much to the relief for RCB Vinay Kumar took his wicket and things were looking down for Delhi Daredevils yet again. Russell announced his arrival hitting 1st ball big straight six but the total of 215 was way too much for him without any support though he still managed to score a quickfire 31 in just 15 balls as 30 runs was required in the last over but Parameswaran finished it off for the Royal Challengers Bangalore taking 2 wickets in the final over as RCB won by 21 runs.

The win has highly brighten up the chances of RCB to come in the play offs as Chris Gayle had yet another man of the match award in his name and had all smiles in his face as he continued wearing the orange cap and as the screen at the stadium read as Kamyaab Kohli we will say that Virat Kohli is indeed the kamyaab captain of RCB.
