Javed Miandad (1975-1996)
2.) In 1998-99, who set an Indian record for the fewest innings to reach 2000 test runs?
Rahul Dravid in just his 40th innings. He scored 190 against Hamilton, when he achieved this feat.
3.) Who holds the record of playing the most test matches before first captaining a team?
Anil Kumble led India onto the field in his 119th test cap against Pakistan in 2007-08.
4.) Name the Indian who was the first to score test centuries in 10 different countries.
Rahul Dravid. He scored his first century in South Africa (1996-97) and he achieved the feat with a century in Bangladesh (2004-05).
5.) Name at least one of the batsman who have been out 'retired out' in test cricket.
Marvan Atapattu or Mahela Jayawardene voluntarily ended their innings 'retired out' in a test match against Bangladesh in Colombo in 2001.
