RCBians glammed up the ICC Awards ceremony
RCB’s leading batsman Virat Kohli and all-rounder Daniel Vettori was honored with prestigious awards at the ICC Awards ceremony,in Colombo,on Saturday.
Virat kohli was announced the ODI Cricketer of the year for his outstanding performance throughout last year.
Virat Kohli has garnered a total of 1733 runs,with an average of 66.65, out of 31 ODIs in a span of last 12 months.His test carrier too, is worth mentioning,where he has an average of 41.35. His towering chunk of runs and tremendous performances is adorned by 8 centuries and 6 half-centuries in this period.
Another RCBian and New Zealand’s slow left-arm orthodox spinner,Daniel Vettori too was honored with the prestigious award of Spirit Of Cricket.Vettori’s carrier holds a record of as many as 360 wickets from 185 test innings.His batting carrier too includes an average of 30.11,with a total of 4516 runs from 112 test matches.
Both of them have a tremendous contribution towards RCB and they have always made their presence felt,during their continuance with it.
