‘RED’ LETTER DAY IN B’LORE

2 hrs and 30 mins from now, Bangalore –prepare to be dazzled as the men
in ‘red & gold’ set out for their 1^st home game.

With a clinical performance against debutants Kochi, B’lore
get set to face the big boys and pre tournament favourites, the Mumbai Indians!
… And having lost to them in the semis last year, the need for a revenge
victory should set everyone’s pulse racing!

So, after one match, RCB boys seem to have settled in pretty
well. What with capt. Vettori leading from the front and the in-form Ab de Villiers going for gold!

Add to this an impressive performance by the local
youngsters, be sure to expect some spectacular fireworks tonight!

Now cut to the local flavour, the B’lore crowd!

No one who’s been at the M.Chinnaswamy stadium ever, will
deny the amazing energy that’s palpable within it’s confines. The legendary
Bangalorean spirit added to a very knowledgeable crowd means that this ranks
amongst the best stadium experiences in the country, for both the home and the
away team!

Case in point:

The tied CWC ’11 match between, India and England… though
there were only about 40,000 people that day, the noise level reached a
crescendo over the last 10 overs and it sounded like there were almost a lakh!

The effervescent B’lore crowd is the true 12^th
man for RCB… and the lads can be sure to never fall short of support!

So coming to this match in particular, MI lead by the legend
himself, Sachin Tendulkar is blazing on all guns. Add to it the lethal pacer
Lasith Malinga, and therein lies MI’s greatest threats…

But if RCB stick to a plan, play Malinga well and don’t
allow their batsmen to get in… the game is surely ours!!!
