Probably the only one who got a wild card entry, Abhinav explains a bizarre day which ended up with meeting India's most successful bowler and becoming a part of the RCB Fanatic Fans.
Saturday morning, its 10 AM, you are in bed when your phone rings, an unknown number, what do you do? At first I ignored and slept back. Some 20 minutes later the phone rings again and yet again its an unknown number. By the time both my eyes and brain are functional, the call disconnects. But destiny has its own ways and 5 minutes later the phone rings again, its the same number and this time I receive the call, thankfully.
Me :"Hello ?"
Caller: "Hi, is this Abhinav ?"
Me: "yes"
Caller: "Hi Abhinav, I am ..... [cant recall the name, sorry about it] from Royal Challengers Bangalore. You've been shortlisted as one of the finalists in the Chief Bloggers Category and you have to be at Chinnaswamy Stadium in 20 minutes"
Me: [Actually woke up now] "What !!! Are you serious?"
Caller: "Of course, please hurry up and come. Where do you stay? .. Ok, it will not take more than 20 minutes come asap"
Me: Fired a few questions to clear out what and how has that happened. [Introducing 3 new Fanatic Fans]
Well, not thinking much, I got ready in a flash, probably the fastest in my life, and yes, I took a bath, if you are thinking otherwise :P.

I borrowed a bike, and somehow reached the stadium [I say somehow because I did not know the directions]. Having not been nominated earlier had already narrowed down my chances of winning but nevertheless I went in with full energy and gave my best possible attempt. A meeting with none other than Anil Kumble himself had made my day and that's how my journey with the most happening club in IPL started.
Ever since I got an invite from Nidhi about putting my thoughts here, I have been thinking about what would be my first post and after hours and hours of thoughts and research I finally thought I should cherish the moment and thank the RCB team for this before anything else and hence came up this post.
Well, this was my entry into the group, I'd like to know how did you guys get on board and what is that special moment that you will cherish for life? C'mon guys and gals, "Let's make it memorable."
