The Bowling Sachin - Zaheer Khan
MS Dhoni has termed Zaheer Khan as the bowling Sachin.
Dhoni has certainly boosted up Zaheer’s confidence high on the on-going 20-20 World Cup by making this statement and has paid a true respect to the bowling hero of Indian team. Zaheer khan has been legendary and an epitome to success in the Indian bowling line up as has Sachin done so to the Indian batting line up.
Zaheer Khan is the one who has lead from the front over the past many years and without him the bowling attack looks thin and it lacks the high intensity level as much as Zaheer brings to the Indian side. It is very much encouraging to hear that Dhoni is very happy to have Zaheer Khan in his team and he knows that Zaheer is the key bowler in the Indian pace department. He is the one who can guide the younger pacemen to come up and achieve the same amount of success he has tasted as they would play along with him in the field and to serve India with consistent match winning performances.
The left hand batsmen are mostly Zaheer’s target and he gets them out more often than anyone else. Over the years Zaheer has been heroic in his performance be it in any form of cricket and he would be any captain’s first choice pick in the playing 11 just as Sachin is.
Wishing that Zaheer Khan takes loads of wickets in this 20-20 World Cup and the Indian cricket team lifts the World Cup.
