The ‘Bullring’ beckons.
After the close encounter with the Mumbai Indians at Kingsmead in Durban, the team is now gearing up for a virtual quarter final clash against the Highveld Lions.

Three games in quick succession, travelling from Durban to Jo'burg, the practice sessions..Phew! Jumbo and Co. have been really busy and a bit worked up as well. A few from the team took some time off to shop yesterday and we chiefs tagged along with them.
A must win for both the teams lined up tonight and Kallis' withdrawal (on Cricket South Africa's Advice) from our side due to injury has just added to our woes. The breakthrough that Kallis has been providing, have been commendable but then there is no point fretting over his absense, we do have a great line up. With the stupendous performances that our batsmen have shown in the previous ties and the sublime touch that our bowlers have been in it shouldn't be difficult for us to tide over the Lions.
The Lions' bowling department hasn't quite managed to create flutters amongst the opposition in the tournament so far. So RCB could cash in on that aspect and it wouldn't be an uphill task to put up a good total, if we bat first.Fingers crossed, hopes pinned and millions of wishes pouring in, team RCB is ready to take on the Lions royally at the 'Bullring'!
