Harbhajan Singh, the legendary off spinner became the 11th bowler to reach the landmark of getting 400 Test wickets in the 3rd Test Match against the West-Indies.
Harbhajan Singh went on to become only the 4th spinner and 3rd Indian bowler after Kapil Dev and Anil Kumble to reach the landmark of 400 test wickets in the ongoing series against the West Indies when he dismissed Carlton Baugh, most importantly he bowled his off taking the wicket on his own without any one's else involvement. It was celebration time for The Turbanator as he had to wait for long to achieve this mile stone, it came after a long wait bu it was fruitful.
Harbhajan Singh made his Test Debut in 1998 against Australia and the journey so for for him as been a rewarding one. His hard work and efforts has paid off now becoming the leading spinner for the country after playing along with the greats like Anil Kumble, SLV Raju etc. He has been responsible for many of India's victory by his off spin bowling.
He has bowled a lot of magical spells and his spells against the Australians have been the ones to watch out for. He has even enjoyed bowling a lot against the Pakistan batsmen. He has had very good records against all cricketing teams and even though he has seen lows in his career he has bounced back strongly and performed at his best. The 400th Test wickets is indeed a dream come true for any bowler and this brilliant cricketer has proved his worth in all formats of the game. As he has rightly mentioned that he still has many years of cricket left in him so we all will wish to see this legendary off-spinner reach his milestone of 450 then 500 wickets and so on to take as many as he can in the years to come.
