Typical Indian cricket fans!

Seeing the recent reactions of RCB fans lately, it reminds me of a Reliance advt 'Ye India ka cricket hai bhidu! Jeete toh, thaat hai. Haare toh, waat hai' (if u win, u are highly admired, if u loose, u get critisized pathetically) All fans turn into cricket experts giving loads of suggestions when we loose. Yes, we are dissapointed  n go mad in anger. But lets get more sensible! First of all, what we as fans can understand, even our great captain n coach can! They are high class professionals with loads of experience. They know a lot about cricket than all of us. So better we dont consider them fools every time we loose for wrong team selection. Enough of the Merwe for Kallis, Mithum for Vinay, drop him, play him...etc etc. There are much wiser brains in our RCB team to understand all this n take right decisions. Its not always team selection that win matches. Players have to perform!  And our coach is not so idiotic to play incapable players or bench more capable players!

There is so much of rage regarding Kallis among the fans claiming him to be selfishly playing for the orange cap n thus we loose. Are there not more reasons for our losses? Is everything else going perfect and Kallis is alone to be blamed? He can have a bad day sometime. Now how Dravid has played for India, Kallis has for SA. For RCB, he has not often played the big impact blazing knocks like Robin, but he has contributed immensely in the progress of RCB so far! legends like Gavaskar, Waugh etc as well as many top cricket sites n cricket experts have admired Kallis this IPL. Kallis is batting as per a strategy of the team and not purposely so slow in his knocks. Yesterday he was just too slow. He can have a bad day sometime. But he need not be considered worthless for the future matches! He has played a big part in most of our wins so far!

We may not all be experts at cricket, but guess what, we're not stupid people in general. One thing most of us do understand is statistics. You don't need to be a great cricketer to understand them. Stats pointed out in the comments on this page: http://www.royalchallengers.com/fan-club/trade-the-cap-for-the-cup/ clearly demonstrate that there *is* indeed a problem with Kallis. I may be a dumb cricketer, but I like to think that I know how to interpret statistics. You on the other hand seem to be going based off sheer dumb fanatic support for the players/coaches. No matter what, they are still accountable.

This seems to be a senseless article written by some fanatic fan. Its not a typical Indian way, those days are gone mate! The manner in which we lost should be criticised. If you have not watched the match and then written this article then i agree. But after watching the match and with some cricket sense, then this is not acceptable. Senseless article!

comments are very important , we r nt saying tat we r so perfect than them , bt we the fans only will know the real problem of a team we r supporting team , so fan views r important , if we dnt support ter is no team RCB ok .

Indians r too passionate about cricket n more than anyone in the world. Thats why the reactions, good or bad are at extremes. RCB is not unbeatable and we will loose some matches. Ofcoures fans should give opinions n suggestions. The idea behind the blog is that fans should not be disrespectful to the players n the management. If u want to critize, then do so decently n not to the extremes, as if they dont know their job. They cant be perfect all the time n there will be mistakes. Dont get impolite n harsh! Think more about all the factors that led to a loss. follow cricket experts, articles etc which will help understand things better n then give comments.

Holmes, I would like to Thank You for your thaught on RCB Fans. If you want to be highlighted .. please let us know.. we will come with banners with your name in it and shout your name in the stadium.. you are talking abt more than 1Cr. RCB supporters here in Bangalore. You write well.. so keep up the good work. I dont want you to be a Swamiji and preach here. Every fan has his right to support and critize the players as long as its hurting their feeling. before being an Fanatic Fan.. Hope even you had done the same. instead of wasting your and our time.. Go.. plant some saplings and make Bangalore look Green. that would be highly appreciated of you.

It was totally wrong to stereotype fans as "Indians". Its high time that such baseless articles should not be published on our RCB website.Seems as if this guy needs publicity...

@Anant,Nish,Vishal and others...I totally agree with you all..Its high time that Kallis plays for the team and reduce the burden of middle order batsmen. Our Dravid has adopted so well to the 20-20 format..Experts are you listening to us??
