We have only ourselves to blame!
Who would have dreamed that at the business end of the tournament we would be tied with 5 other teams on 12 points, especially considering the kind of start that we got. We do not have anyone else but ourselves to blame for it. There were couple of games like the one against DC the day before, the one against CS that we could have won and would have been in a strong position now, but god had something else in store.
Anyways past is past and its time to look ahead. Its all about winning the rest of the 2 matches that we have in store and we would be taking the much deserved flight to the semis. Its time that we put a full stop to the experiments that we have been doing in the recent past and put the winning combination back that was winning us matches in the past. The problem that we have right now seems to be similar to what Deccan charges had in the 1st IPL season. Too many superstars finding it hard to gel as a team. No one doubts the quality of these players, but its not about reputation. No one seems to be taking a leaf out of Rajasthan, who in spite of being so pessimists manage to somehow be a threat. The reason being lack of names and surge of synergy. I think Morgen and Boucher were doing a decent job. They should be called back. May be replace Morgen with either KP or Taylor but we need Boucher back. How can we keep such a plyer out is still beyond my understanding, also why did we took out Manish Pandey when he was playing so well remains an enigma too.
The ball is in our court now. I think as all of you reading this would do that RCB will strongly respond to the situation now and we would deservingly see our favorite team being one of the teams who will quarrel for a spot in finals at our very own Chinnaswamy Stadium. As I wait for the match against Royal to kick off I wish our beloved team All the very best for their season ahead and sincerely hope that they would lift the silverware.
