What is the best score to defend?

As it rains in bengaluru i was just thinking how much T20 and especially IPL when played in india is showing power of the bat ...

Is 200 a good score to defend?

When scoring 225 will we get much lesser score?

Batsmen are ruling the roost in IPL so much so that the scores like 160-170 seem to be mediocre. Every time a partnership starts and goes on for 2-3 overs it seems bowling side need to get a wicket.

It also sometimes feels that 130-140 is good to defend somtimes than 180+ coz batting sides mind set in the latter chase is much more clearer than the former.

Now how do bowlers answer this, no they dont get wickets that will help them, all they need to do is create pressure, ball 2-3 dot balls and they have a high chance of getting wickets

We havent seen a 200+ score in IPL, hope we see a score that is very high and the other team comes close chasing that, coz this tournament and format is all about power hitting and the crowds get excited at that too.

I would say anything above 190 is a good score. But as of now all scores below 140 are well defended.
