What should be the strategy for the next game???????
I mean there is no point in talking what happened against Deccan chargers yesterday, its finished done and dusted, but we can take some positives from that game....
After a shaky start where our middle order failed once again, even Ross taylor with Uthappa didn't come good and there was huge expectations from Ross taylor especially, but that didn't make fans stop cheering for Taylor when he was fielding near the boundary ropes, but Kallis once again proved why he needs to be in the team and ofcourse a special mention to Virat kohli who spearheaded the attack in the final 5 overs where they were able to score nearly 95 runs and then the last 2 huge sixes from Cameron white suggested that why he is preferred over Kevin pietersen, the team had the right balance and right mixture, but Bowling department lacked intensity, PK came good in the initial spell but in the next spell went for many runs, though Dale steyn was generating some serious pace but lacked direction, and simple edges carried to boundaries, RCB showed real character to put up 180 odd but didn't show the intensity while defending it. There were too many balls which looked like RCB were gifting them to hit Sixes and Fours. A forgettable day at office for RCB and should come up with real good strategy against the KKR where Ganguly with his inspirational leadership has made KKR look much more stronger opponent.
So, lets draw out some strategies here for the next game, as fans we all will be having something to say, so lets collage all our views on how RCB should go about playing their next game, and what should be the playing 11 for Tomorrow's match against KKR.
According to me the team combination was right, but still Kallis remains a suspect with his bowling, where Kallis is being in the firing line from many RCB fans lately where everyone wants Kallis to be dropped, In batting he showed some intensity out in the middle, but bowling everyone were taken for runs, they couldn't break a partnership, a guy like Suman thrashed our bowlers all over, and then Symonds proving why he is considered one of the dangerous batsmen in the shorter version of the game, Vinay was really bowling well before getting selected to the Indian team and after that the performance has gone down, may be our bowlers had an off day.....the other day it was our batsmen who had an off day, and this time it was our bowlers turn, its high time that our batting, bowling and fielding clicks at once in the remaining matches..We need Uthappa and Taylor to fire simultaneously in the next game to ensure us a win, as these two batsmen are the most explosive of them in IPL....The intensity is what was missing yesterday, why bowl a length ball when the batsmen is having no problem to dispatch them to the boundary, why don't we make it difficult by bowling 6 yorkers which will be real hard to score of........and our bowling looks similar with same people coming in and bowling of which the opposition would have dissected and studied the whole thing, why dont we throw the ball to Virat or anybody else and see what happens......Just have to say "Fortune favours the Brave" and we need to be brave enough to try new things, take that risk and see how it goes, its been a string of losses for us, hope they turn it into a winning momentum from the next match and peak at the right time.
