Where do I hear that chorus from?
There is no joy bigger than being there. Letting your cheers melt in the conundrum of AAARRR CEEEE BEEEE.
How far are we from the IPL? Isn't that one of the things that we all look forward to when we enter the month of April each year? It is that time of the year when the sun starts blazing and the kids get a breather from their exams and a new sort of fever starts gripping the nation called the IPL.
Thankfully MSD and the boys have done just the right sort of things (by winning the test series by 4-0 for instance) to get the right kind of buzz going around the fan circle. The Australians smarting from their rather embarassing defeat might want to get a bit more exposure to India and it's pitches before they go to Ashes and save themselves some rather traumatising verbal volleys.
The prospects are mouth watering. The world's best will unite yet again to divide themselves amongst the teams that represent IPL and battle their skills in the shortest (and possibly sassiest) format of the game.
We are used to this by now. But just like all good things in life we can never quite get enough of it. Thankfully RCB has a team that can get the pundits and the fans alike sit up and take notice. But the fun isn't in noticing the action alone, the fun is in being the part of the drama. In lining up, in creating a wave through Chinnaswamy or raising a chorus in a bar with a bunch of buddies.
Get geared to get drenched. RCB, we are gunning for you this time. Like we always have.
