First meeting with the great game
Took to the game by accident, was coerced to watch it while fighting over the TV remort with my elder brother bossing around and me conceeding each time. That coercion led to an addiction which liggers on till today.
Different strokes of my personality!
When dawning the cap of a batsman attacking, aggressive, exuding confidence…… but yet reliable. With the bowl in the hand fiery, extremely focused at uprooting the stumps, at all times . My mantra is strategizing to skittle the batsman out.
And as a fielder bundle of energy on the field and off the field as well.
That was just a dipstick into who I am? In cricketing parlance!!!
Surprising but True
Played bit of cricket for junior college at the district level …. Right arm bat and medium pace bowler
I love being involved in the game and its my dream to be the first non-playing female cricket commentator in the country . I took part in DreamJob 2008 conducted by Espnstar and stood in the top 10 in the country. Qualification wise , I am an MBA who is working with PwC in the Entertainment & Media practice .
Other than that I dabble with freelance audio cricket commentary for Tata indicom subscribers, cricket and sports shows at Radio must (community radio station) and freelance writing.
