I have been an ardent fan of Indian Cricket from time immerorial and a die hard one from the 96 World Cup. In those days I absolutely idolised Vinod Kambli even though he remained an enigma. Summer of 96, saw the birth of 2 stars of Indian Cricket, Saurav and Rahul, the latter being an epitome of grit and determination and thus a huge inspiration! It was around this time, I tested the game's waters too, having played alongside current RCB swashbuckler Robin Uthappa. But priorities and circumstances changed and I ended up as an engineer and then an amatuer photographer. When IPL happened, it was but obvious that I chose to follow RCB, it being my hometown team and also 'cause Rahul Dravid was leading the team. Everyone went ballistic at the team's failure in the 1st edition but only a true cricket buff understands its funny nature and how fortunes change within matter of overs. Glory was achieved in 09 and things can only improve in the Champions League. Whatever the outcome, my loyalities are with RCB.. Viva RCB!
