Dravid is the back bone of Indian Cricket since his debut. And he has been performing well when ever he is on the field. And people (especially kannadiga’s) didn’t support him well, as other cricketers are getting support from there state common people.

Its not about regionalism my friend. Dravid hasnt shattered the earth with his batting in ODI cricket. Even in the limited oppotunities he got, he did score runs, but nothing of tht sort to justify why he should be brought back. Test cricket, yes he is a core member without doubt, he can walk into the team, with the others folding their hands and welcoming him in, but ODI’s there is no way he fits into the scheme of things.
To put the facts straight to u, no one in the team or management is against Dravid. If they were, I am sure he wouldn’t have been considered for the Compaq Cup and Champions Trohy. The only reason he was broughy back was because Sehwag and Yuvraj were nursing injuries and the selectors felt we needed experience in the middle order. Please don’t create atrocious polls like these. Yes, agreed everyone is a fan of Dravid, but a time comes where u’ve to just accept it and move on. A time will come when Tendulkar will also announce his retirement. We can’t make a poll asking him not to retire. Just accept the decision and move on, cheer for TEAM INDIA and Dravid in tests and for RCB instead of creating baseless polls like these!

the question of neglecting South Indian players doesn’t arise at all coz Kris Srikanth, the Chairman of Selectors is from the South. Where have u been all these days? Good lord!

Where would u fit in Badrinath in the current line up? All the selectors can do is pick him in the squad which they have been. Ultimately its the captain’s call. In our test match line up, when u have a middle order boasting of Dravid, Tendulkar, Laxman and Yuvraj, plus an opening combo of Sehwag and Gambhir, where wud u fit in BADRINATH ?
Even in the ODI side, tell me where does he come into the picture?
The only way for him in the test side is probabably an impending retirement of the top guys, which looks highly unlikely at this stage. Only an injury to someone can smoothen his passage into the playing eleven.

Hello Mr. Shankz, Dravid (with 461 runs) was the highest individual scorer of 1999 world cup. He has 10000+ runs from his willow. He is the only player in the history of indian cricket who had scored centuries in all test playing nations. If a player is good in tests then he is the master player he is suitable for any format of the game. Dravid is the match winner. And if go through the article before the world cup final 2003, the great assies were only torgeting the wicket of wall not the rest of the team. And in his come back match in CT 2009, he made a good half century and stood alone like a warrior and rest falling with out any efforts. More over he is the all time best bastman of the team india.
