max 3 indians and 2 foreignes
whom do u think shud be retained?

first choice of mine - RAHUL DRAVID

second choice - Anil Kumble

third choice-  KEVIN PETERSON

fourth choice- VINAY KUMAR

@all:Its very clear our valuable stuffs are RAHUL,KUMBLE,UTHAPPA,TAYLOR.

my view is to retain dravid ,taylor,utthappa and kumble.

We should ATLEAST retain Dravid (THE WALL), Kumble (JUMBO), [/color][color=orange]Uthappa (THE 6 HITTER), & Praveen Kumar (THE RIGHT HANDED SWINGER). We can also retain Kallis,  Piterson, Kohli, Taylor & Vinay Kumar.

For RCB
It is better to opt out of retention.
keep all your money at you.
buy this same team in auction. You will find some money to look around for others also.
If you retend only 4 players at half of your money, You are keeping yourself in a helpless situation.
that rule suits only MI, CSK, DD.
rehmaining teams I strngly recommend to opt out of retention.

I feel 1. Robin, 2. Taylor 3. Kubmle 4. WHITE or Peiterson

robin should b thr for sure then eoin morgan he is a young talented guy his performance was brilliant in t20 worldcup his knocks won some 3 games fir england from a losin situation his presence will toughen the lower order then u gotta retain dale steyn he is the master of pace n if he is picked by any other side he ll b a prob for us , not 2 miss our captain his leadership was a boost for the team n his economy rate is somethin to consider .. but in t20 format v need more allrounders so kallis n peiterson should not be left out .. so the final 6 robin, morgan ,steyn, kumble sir, kallis n peiterson

Dravid as he’s karnataka’s main icon…..and the fan base circulates around himsomewht too…....then kumble as the captain hope he doesn’t quit this format….
uthappa is a sure pick cos of his out of the ground shots and among foreign players mostly it would be the one n only kallis…and if u see steyn once told tht if the team shuffles he would still luv to be only in rcb so hopes alive tht many of our same team players remain wouldn’t want taylor steyn to leave as well

as far as kallis is concern if U r having rahul Dravid in team den u don’t need a batsman lyk kallis in the squad. in place of kallis a guy who can bowl at death as well as can hit sixes cud hav been better. nd ryt nw RCB needs an opener who can score fluently wid strike rate of atlest 150 nd if he is an allrounder or wicketkeeper den it wud b much better.

I think we need to retain Kallis, Taylor n Uthappa. we can buy kumble n dravid during auction coz they wont be very expensive.
we need to buy A good slog over bowler who can bowl yorkers. sadly we have none at present..

when it comes to ovrsea players NZ,SA players are the ones to buy. becoz, they given IPL a place in thier calender. this means they will be available for entire season in next 3 IPLs.

JUMBO, THE WALL, SIXAPPA AND DAVANGERE EXPRESS should be retained..

v shud retain ross taylor n dale steyn out of foriegn players n of india v shud try to keep dravid n uttappa as kumble shud retire frm all formats of cricket as he s now not fit to play..

( i guess the rule says 4 players + icon player) ==> thus with Dravid being the Icon Player, the team will have both of its local heroes.

i think the WK in the team shld be shrewed nd smart. There r only 5 such keepers these days( Gilly, Boucher, Kamran Akmal, Sangakara, Mushfiqur Rahim of bangladesh) Thus d team shld preferably select one of these players as their keeper.

its bad luck dat v r allowed to retain only 4 players….i would hope dat v buy d same players again…
to manage dis imposible task of getting back all our own playrs frm d auction,v may not retain ne playrs as v will have a huge money 2 pick…
i dont want 2 c my RCB breakn up…
