Apart from the obvious blush I’d say a big ‘thank you for introducing me to this gentleman’s game’. Had it not been for his debut match I would have hated cricket like most of the girls.

when i meet him…probably the first thing i’d say is….“wow!! ur amazing!! the most amazing player i’ve evr seen!!”

I don’t think this is for me since I’ve already met him.
But I just thought I can share my exp with you all.
I really had a doubt if I would be able to open mouth in front of him or not.
And the first time I did, I messed up all ! (as expected )
I asked him for the Autograph.
He took the book and the pen, wrote ‘To’ and then paused to ask me my name.
All this while I was staring at him like a 5 yr old staring a basket full of chocolates . Quite obvious, it was my 10yr old dream to meet him and I was frozenn!!
Dravid: “Whats your name?”
Purnima: *staring at him* “Rahul Dravid!!”
Dravid: “Ummm..Dravid?”
Purnima: “Err, no, I mean, I meant my name is Purnima”
Gosh! Just can’t forget that moment! And that exclusive smile ( for me )when he heard his name!!! Ah! MY God!

RAHUL DRAVID u r my fav. player & i love watching u play & Somtimes When i see Dhoni playing so Defensively with very low strike rate in odi, that makes me happy & i feel that they r missing you Dravid & u will be soon in a ODI TEAM.I think U r dependable & player who can be trusted.
