some said he should retire,some said contine playing test
but i am asking you the question for odi?
Should dravid be included in Wc 2011 squad?
Dravid played his last ODI match in championship trophy 2009!
before championship trophy he was included in Tri series between ind-sri-nz
he was in team after 2 years.
Before 2 years he played against Australis in 2007
He was super flop in that series
before that series he left his job as a captain.
so i am asking u this question

Dude there is no question about this,Dravid wont be there surely.Its in sub-continent and Dravid is in horrible form of his life.All odds are against Dravid.Its time up for Dravid,he just has a few test series left,2 seasons of IPL maybe.He has aldrady played his last ODI

and maddy his horrible form was in 2007-08 where he failed in scoring runs at all this time he’s atleast scoring runs so well ...yeah he’s getting better

Y not? i want him to be in the squad.But he has less chances of being in the squad.
u ppl are forgetting that he is the only Indian to score two back to back centuries in World Cup’s.We need a dedicated Indian Player like Dravid who can play for the country. And Rahul is one of the best players we have in the side.He should be in the squad.

most of us think dravid should be included but if the question was will dravid be included most of us would have favoured the other side
dravid deserves to be in the team as he performed well in tests and t20 better than dhoni.
but full politics in the team. i’ve lost all the hopes of seeing the wall in blue jersy once again

@dravidyuva:I am sorry but with the current politics in BCCI and selection commitee,Rahul looks certtainly out of favour.But if Dravid plays exceedingly well in South Africa,well there may araise a surprise that he is selected for the ODI series,and i am sure even if he performs not reallly well,he will be in the world cup squad.But i may be like exagirating here.And i personally wpuld love to see Dravid not don the blue jersey anymore.Aldrady there are so many people who want him to go.and if he fails in the world cup,the pressure of retirement will be intense from people.Frankly speaking Dravid looks out of focus in tests too,he really needs huge runs in the current series and SA Tour.
Cricket is my religion and Dravid is my god,and i am very devoted to my god,but i also need to be practical.

Yes I want Dravid to be inclluded in the squad hopefully the selectors will take him in the Squad.

@maddy - Will wait and see whatever it happens. my only wish is i want him to play in WC and if it doesn’t happen then his carrier is incomplete…. He will get back his form soon.. i would like to see him end his career with more centuries than others.. He would always monk who played cricket.

I too think that Dravid will make his place in 2011 WC squad. Hope that he will give his career’s best performance in SA.
