As few players have been retained by their respective franchise, can u all tell ur views what if those retained players get more price from other fanchise to play for them than the amount they r getting by being retained, do they have option of opting out and going to new franchise or once retained they have no option but to stay back ? They should have the option or not.

As For example any franchise will pay huge amount to have likes of Sachin,Virat or Dhoni in their team now that they have been retained by their franchise if other francise are interested in buying them by paying higher value dont these players get choice to go to those new franchise even after being retained. I feel they should have the rights to go to other franchise if they r offered higher price or is this option not available at all, if not dont u think it should be made available for the players….

Do share ur views ...

Thanks

Possibly not because it will not make sense when u have retained a player and later on move to someother team only because they are offering a higher amount..

I think the rule is good because u need to give 1.8 Million Dollars for the first player who is retained.. That makes sense..

So, if the player is not interested in staying with the team or if he feels he can get more money in the auction smile he can ask the management to not to retain him. (E.g Yuvi - who has shown his disinterest on the team from a long time)

Anyway this is fine.. They should not be given another option to change the team now!

Franchaise has to consult d player before retaining. If d player is not interested he can opt for any team

Wel its not that Franchise has to consult d player before retaining if that is the case then if the player says no and if still the Franchise wants to retain that player then what will they do in that case.. So I feel even if they are retaining the players the player should surely have an option to opt for other franchise if they r being offered more price than the retention money…. I hope this rule comes into picture for the benefit of the players if its not there…

Cheers
