Poor Dravid!  There was nothing in IndianExpress and Hindu newspapers about him reaching 12,000 runs…..also there was nothing about this landmark in the tv news too…..so i guess majority of Indians don’t know that dravid reached 12,000….I was surprised to know none of my classmates knew this…..its just ridiculous that such a rare achievement cannot find at least a line in the newspapers while there were 2-3 pages about sachin’s 50th century.

Yeah as the above he didnt get much attention because once again his credit was over-shadowed by Sachin on the occasion of his 50th Century.

No one has written some lines abt his 12,000 Runs. Anyway RD has been undone like this many times.

But as a true RD fan lets Salute him..

If he takes a catch in next test, he will become the first ever cricketer to take 200 catches in test cricket.
with ZAK playing next test, I hope he will get the chance to take that one catch.

Its a great achievement.I remember when Sachin scored 12000 runs in Test Cricket in 2008 every news channel & news paper continued to hype it days after days but in Jammy’s time no one is even talking about that.I heard appreciation only from Harsha Bhogle in CNN IBN that too for a minute.Otherwise other channels are not even reporting much about neither Jammy’s 12000 Test runs nor about India’S loss against SA.They are too happy as well as busy for Sachin’s 50th ton.Team’s loss & Jammy’s achievement means nothing to them.Never mind as if we care.We are with Jammy.He is our hero & always remain our hero.He has been a terrific match winner.My best wishes are with Jammy & Team India.I’d love to see Jammy playing a big innings in Durban & win the match for the country(as he did in 3rd Test against Newzealand in Nagpur).

I’m disappointed that the selectors havent picked Rahul for the world cup squad.. :(
