Royal challengers Bengaluru, though struggled in the debut edition of the so called Indian Premier League, bounced back to its winning ways in the very next edition of IPL:-).A thing to be noticed here is the role played by the foreign players in the second edition.Apart from the likes of the kohlis, kumbles, dravids the presence of south africans and the taylors had great impact in the success of the team, which eventually ended them as runners of that year’s IPL.So much more concentration is to be given, when it comes to the selection of foreign players.
As we all know T20 game is full of drama, fun, fireworks a bunch of good players is required to make the team reach home atlast. And when it comes to the foreigners, the strategy should like filling the flaws and puncturing the holes of the team. The only concern about our domestic players is their consistency. For an instance,we all know how hard and how well uthappa can hit the ball. But he actually failed to come out well during the second edition of IPL.So experienced foreigner like Kallis is required for the team. And as said he proved to be a handy customer and consistent player in the difficult times of the team.
And India has no scarcity for batsmen. We can pick as many good batsmen as we can.But bowlers are the big matter to be concerned about.Though we have so many fast bowlers in our country none can consistently bowl over 140kmph.But many foreign bowlers are easily doing this.So a few good fast bowlers are to be picked up by the jury in the upcoming IPL auctions.Apart from steyn,Jammie anderson or Stuart broad can be the answer for this.Anderson is also doing a very great job in the ongoing ashes series.
Many forget to pick the players from a team like Bangladesh.Hardly two participated in the IPL.But shakib al hasan, who has been rated as the best all rounder, should be given a chance to play in this t20 bash.He can also be signed at affordable cost.Another player from this very team is Tamim iqbal. He is also known for an attacking opening start, which is very necessary for a tournament like this.He can also be a good option.
So to conclude in simple words allrounders and bowlers from foreign are to be given attention in the upcoming auctions provided we have the domestic batsmen of the present squad.
Would be great if the players from the following list are preferred:-
  All rounders
  1.Jaques Kallis
  2.Shakib al Hasan
  3.Mitchell Johnson

  Bowlers
  1.Stuart Broad
  2.James Anderson
  3.Grame Swann
  4.Dale steyn

  Uncapped Batsman
  1.David Jacobs

  Batsmen
  1.Tamim Iqbal
  2.David Warner

Hope our team meets its needs in this IPL cool smile
