There is absolutely no local feeling or the nativity in the whole team.

For heaven’s sake please get rid of those silly Hindi and English theme songs. Both of them suck big time. Please have a rocking Kannada theme song. The best example is CSK’s “whistle podu” Tamil theme song that reflects true Chennai spirit. On similar lines we need a song that reflects true Bengaluru spirit.

RCB is not the darling of people of Bengaluru for these reasons.
1. No local talent in the team.
2. Name is RC Bangalore. It would’ve better appealed to the crowd had the name been RC Bengaluru.
3. The theme song of RCB is in Hindi. Should’ve been in Kannada.

RCB can draw some inspiration from Chennai SK to draw the local (majority) fans. CSK has Tamilised the theme song.

If this page is about fans, let me tell you this page is soon going to be obsolete what with your poor selection criteria of the team supposed to represent Bangalore (or is it Bengaluru?)

Besides, does the team’s Hindi anthem have any purpose at all? And how is it faring?
I am now convinced RCB’s marketing team comprises of MBA drop-outs or blind Hindi / Bollywood marketers who were rejected by Delhi Daredevils team I guess.

Come back in better shape, with a more local flavored team for IPL-5 dudes..

Cannot agree more… Good example of what happens when you choose to ignore local talent. Mallya has chosen to igonre Kannadigas totally. Without Bangaloreans, this is not at all a Bangalore team. Wait and watch how we will end up at the bottom of the table…

Local should be given preference first .................
