my strategy wud be reduce speed in bowling and batting hit hard that bowl even though goes near the fielder shud feel the pain
my batting strategy 1-6=46 to 56
6-16=120 to 140
16-20=180

bowling
1-6=45
6-16=110
16-20=fnish it off

good one.. nice on the paper and i hope they implement it on field.. but I personally feel our battin aproach needs to change… I wrote the same in other article as well. I am doing it here again just with a hope that some one in the team management notice it.. I am sure the batsmen know more but as a fan if I have an observation I will write it.. So here it is..

case: A shortpitched ball on middle and off
what other teams normally do: pull it over square leg or midwiicket
what our batsmen do: defend it, pull it along the ground straight tio a fielder
result: other teams get a six whereas we get no runs or if we are lucky, a boundary( 1 in 4 times maybe)

case: a full pitched delivery on off or outside off stump
what other teams do: slog it over midwicket
what we do: steer it towards point or cover drive it.
result: other teams get a six, we get 0,1,2 runs most times. 4 occasionally if it is dravid.

case: a good length delivery on middle coming in
what we do: defend it
what other teams do: flick it towards short square leg and steal a single
result: other teams get a run, we dont..

many more.. all we need to do is look to score runs… the last shot involves no risk at all.. change our approach and we will score not less that 20 more runs still losing the same number of wickets we are losing now

Well, we fans will have a thousand observations and suggestions.. I am a hardcore rcb fan and like most i have put down my observations.. it is just like fans recommending their 11 for the next match.. smile .. but no doubt our batting approach needs to change..

Winning the toss and batting first will be the key.Young indian players should take the responsibility and should not lose wickets in a stingy manner. i don’t think bowlers can do much in bangalore wicket so the fielding has to be high in standards. Don’t give wickets to sreeshant early in his spell then he will totally be a different player and of course this is one of his personaly favourite grounds.

next match regroupping si the most IMPORTANT.. common we r playing in front of OUR home CROWD so we must paly with all might!!!
the change of strategies must be
1-Robin Uthappa must open with Manish Pandey. both these KArnatka Young guns are explosive players understand each others game very well and since they hav enough RAnji game experience with them they r sure not to get ryun out..moreover they r capable of gtting us around 8-10 runs in the 1st 6 overs
2-Vinay Kumar must play… he may not have the xpress pace of STYN but Vinay is a thinking bowler who change his line n varies pace according to the situation,. Abhimanyu Mithun also could be given a look in.
3-Morgan must be advised not to play ridiculous shots such as the reverse sweep.. there was no need for him to play that shot against KKR when he was timing the ball pretty well
4-when we r bowling during the Power plays our off side feild must hav
Kohli at pouint
Manish at Cover
Uthappa at short cover
Eoin morgon at backward point
Dravid at 1st slip
this off side feild setup almost can be damedged by no1.. it will be very very hard indeed as all the above 4 players are amazing at those respective positions
with this much i leave the rest to THe RCB team management.. BEST of LUCK GUYS for tommos match!!!

from next game onwards,  openers should start aggressively without getting out till 6-7 overs… RD should come in one down… Morgan should be sent in 4th or 5th ( atleast after 10th over)
and for bowlers, now every team is well balanced and everyone has some big hitters..so pace variation in bowling is the MUST when playing in these indian flat pitches… otherwise respective bowlers will be taken for a ride… this is for 100%  sure.. for example.. other day, Angelo Mathews bowled superbly against RCB.. we really lack an experienced clever bowler to take wickets upfront…

First of we have to select the stable team…..
I think there ws no need of includin shree in the playin 11… instead of him we could have Morgan as
wicket kicper….secondly we can include Vinay Kumar to sharpen our bowling attack….
Regardin batting line kallis shd open wid pandey…. Rd should come 1 down then virat…...aft him Morgan then van de merve, praveen

No opening spell for Kallis, Praveen & Steyn should open the bowling spell. Fielding has to improve.
Put runs on the board so that bowlers can put pressure on the batsman.
If RCB batting first 160-180 should be the target.

I HAV ONE MORE TACTIC WHY NOT WE SEND IN Vinay Kumar 1 DOWN AS HE WAS DESTRUCTIVE IN THE KPL

SEND UTHAPPA OPENING AS HE KNOWS EACH CORNER OG THE GROUND VERY WELL AND ALSO MORGAN WHO IS FANTASTIC FORM SHOULD BAT FROM 14TH OVER AS HE CAN TAKE TIME TILL THE 16TH OVER AND THEN PLAY SLAM BANG CRICKET

Rahul Dravid HAS HIMSELF AGREED TO BE FLEXIBLE SO WE MUST PLAY HIM 5 OR 6 AS OUR PLAYER WHO STABILIZES THE INNINGS

WE MUST FIELD WELL AND ALSO WICKET KEEPER SHOULD BE QUALIFIED ENOUGH LIKE MORGAN OR BOUCHER….

ALSO WE MUST PLAY BOTH MITHUN AND Vinay Kumar WHO ON THEIR DAY CAN BE A DESTRUCTIVE OPENING PAIR

I agree .. not a bad tactic at all….. at worst he might get out which is what is happening anyway with the batsmen now… I remember the team sending Rajesh Bishnoi against kings 11 last year( correct me if I am wrong).. he scored a quick 18 runs off 11 balls and was looking really good before getting out.. sending Vinay Kumar is not a bad idea at all…
