I think Gayle must be rested for the next couple of games as it seems like the team hugely dependent on his performance on that particular day. The middle order is not quite tested as many didn’t get any cahnce to bat due to Gayle’s marathon innings. Lets try a differnt strategy as only few gamnes left in the group stage. Hope it goes right for RCB…

Not recommended.. Its the form and momentum thats hugely important in tournaments like these. and especially considering that we are moving into the playoffs stages.

Gayle has the form. So it would be a mistake to even think of disturbing that. We all know hes mercurial, If he’s off he is off and if on , he on big time like he is now.

Yes we are dependent on him but if he gets out I am sure AB has enough class to take us through. AB is the most under rated high caliber batsman in world cricket and is clearly in the league of pontings and tendulkars as far as technique goes, though doesnt have the achievements to match them.

And please.. Lets get Saurabh Tiwary to play some overs.  Infact I would want to see Saurabh at 3 cos we know Virat is excptional talent and can be a floater.

I agree to it that, but atleast team should think of doing some small changes like promotin some players up the order and Gayle playing at 5 or 6. Its only 3 games left for the knock-out stage so everyone in the team should be ready to go at any stage, at any place they play.

we both know that, they will not move Gayle to 5 or 6. Gayle is a batsman like that. I agree to what you say that others should get to bat, so that they are ready, hence they could be promoted to number 3.(Saurabh Tiwary should get a bat. he hasnt got much of the strike
