guys RCB aint the team to lose to kxip….. surely RCB is a better team n deserve more than a victory, well we all knw dat. but inspite of big guns n gayle storm, it just didn happen… wat went wrong?
1) y no luke? thy went wid bowlers n 1 -2 batsmen short on a batting piece of cake wkt..
2) y no spinners?who cud put brakes on run machines…. (apart frm gayle, no notable spinners)
3)body language lukd jitterd.. wat jet-lagged again huhh?
4) fielding was avg.. thy cud do less coz ball was always found abive thr heads…
5)both captains in their view abt pitch were differnt. well our side gettg it completely wrong….....
6) if gayle storm doesnt blow, thn rest wither… wake up guys!!!!!!!!!!
7)our guys cud hit n clear the ropes any whr in the world.. but cudnt on dis such a small ground???? intresting…....
8)was virat expectg too much for the pitch to do… well it did certainly except wat he thot ....!!!
7)losin by such a huge margin itself is an ipl record.. well our guys dis time found on the wrong side of the record galore!!!!!!!!!
8) y still stcikg on to an unknown keeper rathr than AB. cud hav some gud batsman or an allrounder instead of him….
9)first we gave them six hittin practice, then second half it was catching practice…. it lukd lik late nite training session…
10) atleast cud hav decreased the losin margin…. well simce the odd point, thr is no effect of run rate for us in points table, but… 111 runs is so hurting for us…

nice summarization. but… i think yesterday’s batting combo was not proper….

it hurt alwayz when your home teal loses a big match like the one between RCB and KXIP….

the match started in favor of the RCB’S as they kept kxip within 30 runs in the first six overs…. KXIP then took some chances and when they got the start, there was no one to stop them..

the bowling performance was not too bad considering the fact that the ground was small. gilly hit a 75m six which could have been easily cought in a ground in Bangalore.  we had to bowl a few more yorkers and bowl to the stumps.. slower balls from arvind in the last over was impressive.. slower bouncers could have been entertained. We were in need of a spinner very badly and we could see that difference when chawla was bowling.. more over…gayle failed to get going and threw his wicket away and then kholi got out for a slower bouncer..
the batting combo was not soo good and then one of the batsmen needed to stay in the crease but that didnt happen…
sending in sourab…everyone thought that we would hav a dream start but it was one of those days where nothing really goes your way…

hoping that we do good in the games to come and finally lift the silverware…. GO RCB !!!!!!

No problem, but we have to say that KXIP played very well, specially Gilly.

yea!!!one spinner shd have played instead of pathan…..wr was luke??they gave chance to van dar wath it was not needed…...tiwary is not playing well,m very upset abt him!!!is tht his fault o coach!!!he was fantastic player when he was playing for MI but now….:( :(

evrythg wasnt proper.. nothin right…  whole of monday thy were on field don knw wat went wrong on tue???????

firstly , the bowling which let us down, without the services of the experienced zaheer. and the next was the team was solely dependentn on the consistent hitter in chris gayle. once gayle got out cheaply there was no proper resistance from rest batsmen

The thing was we didnt have Zak….n combination of batting wasnt good…..AB should have been second batsmen

Two things went wrong and it is evidently clear:

1) Vettori and Zaheer arent there. They were the only bowlers to curtail Punjab in the kind of mood they bwere in
2) We left out Luke Pomersbach for Vanderwath. why? Pomersbach is a quality player and he cold be as dangerous/if not more than Dilshan . period! Vanderwath isnt a complete bowler / batsman yet. Even a part time bowler could have bowled a little better than him(he gave almost 50 runs in the four overs)

Yesterday we didnt have Zak

The main thing what i felt is we didnt have Zak n none of the players batted well…AB was ok

lets not get into what went wrong.but to be honest we are in a sport and loosing is part of winning.the same team made it to the top.and the same will win the title.and we are not actually depending too much on chris gayle but its just that he didnt give an opportunity for some one else to prove.coz by the time he got out in last seven wins, he had almost decided the fte of the match.

THE BOWLING AS WELL AS I DONT THINK TIWARY SHOULD VE OPENED WITH GAYLE ..... A RIGHT HAND AND LEFT HAND COMBINATIONS WOULD VE WORKED BY TAKING OFF SOME PRESSURE FROM ANY OF 1 IN THE SCREASE .... PITCH WAS VERY FAST .... VERY KXI FRIENDLY PITCH .... CANT BLAME THE PITCH BUT .... PLAYERS SHOLUD VE TAKEN THS BOWLING IN TO MUCH HIGHER EXTENT .... GRAND SHOW OF INEXPERIENCED BOWLING ATTACK ...

It’s just the dynamics of game, as Virat Kohli himself said “It’s good it happened now” and it actually works in our favor coz the team needed a break since we got all the attention in the world as the team which created a record of winning 7 matches straight and to take off the pressure the reset was required.

I don’t mind losing but not with a such a huge total and that total did affect Gayle’s performance and I hope team RCB gets back with same motivation as they did last 7 matches. We need to just play our game….
