good point but u are missing something here.. It is not with the strike rates being better but with the ability these batsmen have exhibited in the past.. kallis is by nature a sober batsmen and if he gets into a situation where he has to score 20-25 runs in an over, he is out of his comfort zones.. Ross has some insane innings to his credit.. like 81 of32 balls, 51 of 24 balls etc etc in previous ipls which have turned matches.. this is what makes him more dangerous than kallis.. I havent seen such innings from kallis..

Frankly speaking Yes.. He is slow.. But that is how Kallis builds his innings.. Whether it suits or not for T20 is purely dependent on what situation match is in ..  Honestly speaking, in RCB we do not have much devastating batsmen (like other teams) except ROSS and Uttappa and may be for some extent WHITE.. Remaining players in our camp really cannot turn matches within a span of an over or 2..  This will be more evident once these players are exposed to these kinda situations especially when you are chasing big totals ...

I dont think so… the important thing here is his role.. he plays the anchor for out team.. he plays a well matured innings so that other batsmen can go for their shots and play freely without any pressure.. this is the whole concept of RCB kallis and RD’s role is to stay @ th crease where as others can propel the runrate with their blazing performances… and not to forget he is one of the bowling five and introduced the concept of bowling bouncers to indian batsmen which worked out against ROyals and MI…
