Let see, also i feel winning toss makes win the match.
While batting Gayle need to settle down until 6 overs
taking single runs then he should fire since the pitch and ball gets settled for
big shots. Hope he understands this concept

Batting first will be better against Mumbai…
Well they have good bowlers and where in chasing it will be difficult facing Malinga,Harbhajan and Munaf….

Or else even bowling first will be good one..

Vettori has to come against Blizzard in starting overs…

Ultimately either bat first or second .. play positive and watch out carefully Malinga….

RCB has to win remaining two matches…

I am very positive this time we will win against Mumbai and we beat CSK also…...

RCB team watch out for Malinga this time… and make sure this time he has to forget this match…and give them farewell party…

Need to work out a formula to bring in a right arm spinner into the team as Mithun the only genuine right arm bowler has not helped the cause. As Daniel has rightly pointed out that RCB has a single dimensional attack with three main bowlers being left arm bowlers lacks variety. Only exception being Chris who is doing well in patches with his right arm off break bowling. How about finding means of getting in Jonathan (if he is a right arm bowler) known as a leg-break bowler i assume he is right arm bowler. He could be a good option to lend variety.

IN the last match both all three Zaheer, Aravind and Daniel were very expensive in the death overs. Had any one of them restricted to about 8 runs from their last over then it would certainly been a different ball game. It is not that chennai won the game we offered it to them on a silver salver. Just denying one sixer would have done the trick. Bowling low full toss might be a good strategy i suppose not in the death overs in a T20 game. Wisdom was desired at that situation.

However all said and done it is easy for us to comment in a postmortem situation, but the players would have been thinking different there in the middle, yet it was panic taking over the bowlers. I feel Daniel should have bowled the crucial 19th over and bowled Aravind in the 20th. If the runs given was about 10 or 11 in the 19th then the situation would have been different.

Besides i feel Playing Gauthan in place of Kaif would give more options. AB will be available in the out field and lend teeth to the fielding option.

Pomersbach was doing well, had he continued for another couple of overs we would have set a target of about 190 or more which would have been impossible for CSK to manage. They would have panicked.

Let the best thinking and planning prevail for the next two matches.

I have a gut feeling that if we meet CSK in the finals (of course beat MI in the virtual Semis first) we will pravail and win the championship for sure.

RCB whether batting first or second just need to see off Malinga without losing wicket to him then we have the game with us. Perhaps retain two slow bowlers to bowl the last two overs of the MI innings. Especially our bowlers stick to the basics of bowling to a tight line and length till the first 16 overs to contain the score to less than about 100 - 110 range with 4 or 5 wickets then the game is almost in our bag.

Bat sensibly with any rush of blood approach to hit the big shots. You can demoralise the MI and CSK bowlers by milching them to about 8 runs without the biggies. That will frustrate them and force them to bowl the loose deliveries.

Even with Ashwin just don’t attempt to hoist him over the boundary initially just score runs in ones and twos then he will cave in. Study Bollinger for one over and attack him he too will cave in. This is my analysis. Excuse me if i am wrong. CSK fielding is strong try to apply pressure on them by good and sensible running by taking single or twos and then even the fielders will crack.

IF there is a chance get AB in the out field by bringing in Gauthan replacing Kaif Let Gautham keep wickets. As a surprise bring in the kinds of AB and even Luke to bowl one over each as a gamble which may take the opponent batting by surprise. May work as it is a gamble.

Better play Syed in place of the off colour Mithun. Probably send in Aravind as a Pinch hitter if required. He is good with bat as well. Gautham also can be tried with this role.

Finally Patience is the KEY, not to come under pressure even if hit for a Six off the first ball.
