RCB is the word that will be spoken by all the people who watched the IPL matches. It was simply for one reason. It was Gayle’s magic which made them say that. All teams would have been disturbed by Gayle’s dreams too as he was simply brutal this time. We started with a loss and had a win again. But until the rain washed game, we were simply looking down the barrels. I am sure all the people in here were simply thinking of Mumbai Indians alone who can win this IPL. It all changed with the entry of Gayle. He simply pulverized the bowling attack of any team. I would still say except CSK.
The Gayle mantra changed our bowling and fielding too. We had the bowling attack of Zaheer, Aravind, Vettori and Mithun who did the job for us. Dont forget Gayle again who did the fifth bowler job to perfection. He was simply the best. With this said, we should not forget the performances of Kohli, AB De Villers and Mayank agaarwal. These three batted really well around Gayle. They had a great time along with him. We did have our own bad moments again CSK twice which cost us the IPL. At the end of the day, they were the better team. But we were the biggest comeback team of this IPL and we should be happy that we qualified for the Champions League this year. We should win that.
We had some bad performers too which should be said in here. I dont want to mention names here but it had both foreign and Indian players who could not perform at the bigger stage. It was just too much of pressure on them. We also had some more memories from this IPL. The hundreds from Gayle, hundreds from Sehwag, Gilchrist, Five for from Ishant, Hatrick by Amit Mishra, Consecutive IPL wins from CSK and many more.
We hope RCB gets better in CL and wins all the teams there. RCB ROCKS…..We should be the champions of CL2011.
