It was 2000th test, and we lost it by a huge margin of 196 runs. Ya an historic moment lost ut not everything. Indian have always been I poor starters lets accept, partly it’s because of getting used to the conditions and getting acclimatized. It’s a long tournament of 4 tests, 5 odis and 1 t20 so everything to play for. Series more importantly 1 rank and proclamation of Indias domination on world stage. This world champion side has all ingredients to bounce back with right combination of youth, experience, aggression and confidence it had all accolades.
Batting particularly did not fare well in first innings and also bowling, which shows they took time to gel together as some of seniors Indian players joined to side very recently after a mammoth season which ended with ipl. Youngsters like Raina, Mukund have to step up to occasion and show there metal. This is an wonderful opportunity for them to build their confidence and carrier under such difficult tour. Bowling will be set right as we bowled a bowler short now it will be filled more importantly Ishant is bowling well. These are conditions where some of greats were made.
It’s about time for Sachin to get its 100th 100, it’s been a while we are waiting for it. And more importantly to pay our salute to our old warhorses Dravid and Lakman who in all probability are playing there last tournament in English soil. Dhoni has o find his captaincy nack, as he always does. It’s just a matter of a session that we bounce back, and show what this Indian team is made of.
