THE WALL just showed why he is called so in Nottingham, carving out yet another century in some of hostile condition and at a crucial juncture in the series. Just when India had lost first test by a huge margin of 196 runs and opener Ghambir was out second test, our old veteran rose to the occasion by opening though it is not his domain. Other opener Mukund got for duck, it looked as if ghost of lords were haunting Indian batsmen just then our Mr. Reliable studied the ship. Though wickets at another fell he was unnerved, looked like a man on mission. He was helped by 2 small partnership one with yuvraj and another with sachin, but again disappointed by missing is 100th ton.
Rahul Dravid brought his 34th century to draw level with Sunil Gavaskar and become the joint second highest century-maker from India on the second day of the second Test against England making it one of best century under difficult circumstances. Playing his 155th Test, Dravid achieved the landmark when he paddle-swept off-spinner Graeme Swann to the fine leg boundary at Trent Bridge. Showing his class by compiling his second century of series when India required it the most. Sometimes I feel Dravid never got his due respect for kind of service he has delivered to Indian cricket partly because he is overshadowed by sachin. Mr. Dependable this man has performed when it is most needed, so it time we salute our old warhorse.
Jammy popularly called in close circles is a serious contender; we can see the amount of concentration, determination, dedication, confidence, control he shows on the field, battling out ball by ball. Over years he has won and saved many tests for India. So it’s time every Indian salute NAMMA HERO RAHUL DRAVID.

seriously he seems to be the only batsman from india who has gone there to bat
the others seem to be enjoying and gettin out playin irresponsible shots even once they are settled
the man’s efforts seem to be undermined by the doing of his own team mates

never mind he is truely a great person in the histry of indian cricket

To Mr. Rahul Dravid,
Gautam is taking x ray - will you open? Okay.
Dhoni wants to bowl - will you keep? Okay.
over rate slow so captain banned - will you captain? Okay.
...
.........Sachin didn’t hit 100 - will you hit? Okay.
India looks like losing - will you save the match? Okay.
Zaheer has hamstring injury - will you bowl? erm… Okay!

.......and they call Hussey Mr. cricket
