I have posted it by using my another account named ‘rossfan21’ but noone read it except one of our friend Mridul.
Harsh to say but it’s a true fact.
RCB hasn’t been using players correctly as they used to do in the previous edition.
If we exclude Gayle from our side(i.e)the original roster after auction seemed to be very dull and weak as compared to previous edition.
We lost enermous hitters like Taylor and White and loads of domestic talents like Shreevats Goswami,Vinay Kumar,Manish Pandey,Wicket-keepers like Boucher and Uthappa, feary pace of Steyn and swinging deliveries of Praveen Kumar and the main heroes Dravid and Kallis.
RCB wasn’t so much successful in getting the perfect replacements for players. To some extent,Vettori was a perfect replacement for Anil Kumble,Zak was a coverup for Dale Steyn, for Vinay Kumar it was Aravind and for Ross Taylor it was de Villiers.Noone was there to replace king Kallis who was a mere all-rounder which RCB found in the form of Gayle in the latter half of the season after being picked up as the replacement for injured Dirk Nannes.
Noone was able to replace Praveen Kumar as we lost a gem who swings the ball both the way and a lethal hitter down the order and that’s a major issue.
de Villiers brought in auction as a keeper not as batsman:
Perhaps the biggest mistake after leaving out Rahul Dravid and Ross Taylor.de Villiers always played freely for Delhi Daredevils. This was because there was Karthik to keep wickets and de Villiers had no problems regarding his batting. It would be better to play a good local wicket-keeper who could score fast. Similarly Dilshan also lost hs form in the middle and struggled initially.Pujara,a technically corrected batsman was a good buy for RCB,but one can’t except him to score heavily at no.7 at the fague end of the innings.Mohammad Kaif, one of the best fielders also is underestimated. He has a lot of cricket left in him.He comes at the end of innings to bat.So I think he should become a big-hitter and score a few runs in slog overs so that it will be a help to the team.
Another problem arises that lack of knowldge about opposite team may cause bitter failure in the match. The best example is about first edition where we lost to Cape Cobras after gettng such a good start.First match against warriors would be a tough game.So better we prepare from here.Watching their videos, their strong points, weaknesses and seeking help from coach Ray Jennings would be helpful.
Now it’s the high time.Players should work for their weak points and improve on it.Even the tail-enders should be taught to bat a bit which would be helpful for the team at disastrous situations.
I know RCB would work hard and give more than 100% in the field. All the best RCB.Nokia Champions League on our way.
Feedback appreciated.

Good thoughts buddy. I am not sure whether RCB management will look at this. They will be happy that fans are giving lots of innovative thoughts.

I don’t say only about the replacements but how to correctly use players according to the situations and watching out their videos, gaining knowledge about their strong points and their weaknesses and work on our weak points as well.

i agree with the under prepareness of the team. But i dont see Uthappa, Ross Taylor, Manish Pandey, etc doing well with their new franchises. I think the new RCB team is good, but none of them firing at required situations. ABD was good initially but went blunt progressively.

cant really expect Kaif to smash the ball in slog overs. He is not that kinda batsmen, he needs time to settle down and then work the ball. If Kaif had such an explosive mannerism he could have stayed in the Indian team with Yuvi upto date.
