sadly RCB cant buy any of the foreign players as they have 11 foreign players incldin gayle and nannes.

RCB has none as they retained gayle and nannes
CSK has no slot if they plan to retain southee (southee replaced hilfenhaus last season)
DC has 3 slots left after trading KP
DD has 2 slots left after trading Mcdonlad
kings 11 has 3 slots left if they retain miller (replaced mascarenhas) and mclaren (replaced broad)
kkr has 3 slots left if they retain boucher (replaced haddin)
MI has 2 slots left if they retain fernando (replaced mckay) and price (replaced henriques)
PW has none of the solts if they retain faulner (replaced matthews)
RR has 5 slots after the retirement of warne and if they retain oram ( replaced collingwood)

as the reatained and replaced players are not in the auction list it is assumed that even the other franchise have signed their replacements

The foreign players available in the market are good subjected to availability. Is there anyway we can release a few players so we can purchase couple of them from the auction pool? My point is usually only 6-7 foreign players max are used throughout the tourney eg Gayle, Vettori, AB de villiers, Dilshan, Nannes, Mc donald (this season), Players like Van der wath, Langeveldt, Pomersbach, Pradeep, Rossouw are hardly used or never used.SO why cant we discard a 2-3 players and pick up other players IF we don’t get Vinay kumar in the auction.. N people the reason we did not offer a contract initially for Akhil is probably cause RCB did not want him, so why would they go for him now, rather go for Binny who is in better form n a regular for KARNATAKA.  Potential players who are probably better than our bench strength and i would love see in RCB colors :
1.Mitchell Johnson (will probably be available the entire season as Australia current bowling is good) 2.Peter Siddle ( not sure if he will be available)
3.Luke Wright( Decent all rounder, good big bash performance) 4.Vernon Philander( SA player, good bowler n will always be available)
5.Jade Dernbach (Good bowler and superb variations, local players will struggle to play him) 6. Ravi Rampaul (Value for money if available for cheap)
7. Doug Bracewell ( Might be cheap, bowled well vs Aus) 8. Lonwabo Tsotsobe (SA player, good bowler n will always be available)
9. Andre Russell ( Can bowl n smack the ball hard, value for money if available for cheap) 10.Sunil Narine ( Potential trump card, Hard to play him, superb in CLt20 overall and destroyed CSK.

vinay kumar
balachandra akhil

Even I want Balachandra Akhil back.He is a fantastic T20 player. But Mr.Mallya showed no interest in signing him during IPL 4.
He was one of my favourite domestic players in RCB.He is a very good T20 player, even better than Bhatkal.
Hope we sign him.

Its better to replace
Johan van der Wath and Nannes.

Peter Siddle and Dinesh Chandimal will be really useful players. Siddle is very aggressive and he can bat a bit too!! Chandimal is upcoming youngster and he will be very useful in future IPL aswell.!
