Mark Boucher, one of the finest wicket-keepers in the world was forceful to retire due to eye injury, hereby ending a luminous career of the wicket-keeper.
Wishing him speedy recovery for the injury.
Mark Boucher has played for RCB and KKR in IPL.
Luckily we had him in our team,so we didn’t had any kind of dilemma behind the wicket and lower order stability in batting.
Mark Boucher was he first ever RCBian to win the Man Of the Match Award in our first ever victory way back in 2008.He scored 39*(19) against Mumbai Indians after a forgettable game against KKR to win the match for us.
In our first dreadful season,Mark Boucher was the only man who scored runs for us with 290 runs, apart from Dravid who scored 375 runs in first season, where man of our batsman failed to score runs.Mark Boucher was the only man who did a thankless job of keeping wickets with gratitude and excellence without any complaints, which makes one tired a lot.
He failed with the bat on few occassions which kept him out of national squad for long.
We will miss you Boucher. You will always be a great person.
All the best for your future life.
Cheers!!!
Karthik.
