i think kallis praveen kumar n vinay kumar all r prty similar whch makes easy for opposition team batsmen to adjust so i suggest leave praveen r vinay n get our mithun back he bowls at googd speed n can partner steyn.he bowls vry good yorkers as v saw in ranji trophy finals so y dont v give him a chane r two ??????

I completely agree.

Since we have Kallis and Steyn, and since we have seen Praveen Kumar and Vinay Kumar leaking runs at will, without being smart enough, I think the time has come for RCB to make do without one of these guys.

Our ideal bowling line up would be:

1) Steyn
2) Kallis
3) Kumble
4) A Spinner—> Appanna/Sridharan Sriram (Mostly a left-hand bat, but can bowl pretty decent left-arm spin)/Nayan Doshi (Dilip Doshi’s son, is he treated as a localite or a foreign player?)/Sunil Joshi/Ashok Menaria(All-rounder, India U-19 captain).
5) A Medium Pacer—> Mithun/Pankaj Singh/Bhuvaneshwar Kumar/B Akhil (all-rounder)

We have choices. We must be prepared to wield the axe on inconsistent players.

our batting line up is very strong and we have one bowler short..

YEAH…...Zaheer Khan was the one who wud had made the difference in RCB’s Bowling attack…..
We lost him last season…...He was the one who wud had guided our Bowling attack…........

PK is anytime better than Vinay. Please drop Vinay and get Mithun inn..

get mithin for vinay since mithun is faster, remember the bouncer he sent to get sehwag;s wicket in the last match

vinay sends gentle medium pace at 120 km/hour which is easy pickings for strong guy like symonds to hit out of the park

also replace white with merwe. white is good batsmen but we have six good batsmen already (kallis, manish, robin, dravid, ross, kohli) and we need an all rounder like merwe more than a seventh batsmen

there are only 20 overs to play guys, we dont need so many batsmen, six specialist batsmen, one all rounder like merwe and four specialist bowlers (kumble, pk, mithun, steyn) is the best combination.

so while white and kp have telant they are not really needed since they use foreign player spot which can be better used for a bowler or an all-rounder

i think our batting line up is good . we need one more spinner our team. steyn is not good for this series he give the more runs per over. merwe replaced by steyn. already we have a four bowlers(praveen,vinay,kumble& kallis) and one more is merwe .we have use the white part time bowler. merwe also good strike rater batsman.

We do need 3 fast medium pace bowlers along with fast bowler like styen when we play champions trophy
