well i think we need to desperately buy a couple of foreign pacers this season,also having dropped dirk nannes as well… clint mckay and rimmington seem to be good contenders to replace nannes..i think our batting looks real solid…we have to worry about picking good pacers to go with…kamran khan might be a good domestic bowler to go with…if at all we need to buy batsmen, abhishek nayar would be a worthy shot…thishara perara would be handy too as an allrounder and also an excellent fielder…though many would tell argue that dilshan must be played in all matches..i on the other hand disagree..although we could play dilshan in some matches…majority of the matches we have to go with the four foreign players ie…
1.chris gayle
2.ab de villiers
3.daniel vettori
4.foreign pacer we buy this season(mckay,rimmington or perera…but perera would be my first preference as he adds batting also)
but on certain slow tracks it would be wonderful to play murali side by side with vettori….if u can recollect the pair just ripped apart the delhi dardevils batting lineup with continuous 8 over spell at chinnaswamy(ipl2012)

so the likely team would be….and should be
1.CHRIS GAYLE(obviously!)
2.MAYANK AGARWAL(always performed wonderfully while opening and deserves the             place ahead of dilshan,who hasnt been consistent enough)
3.Virat Kohli(obviously)
4.AB DE VILLIERS(obviously)
5.C.PUJARA(though he may not be as effective at the shorter format,he certainly has a               wide variety of shots and would be very handy…and he seems to             be high in confidence and form too)
6.SAURABH (giving him a couple more chances wont hurt…fire him if he doesnt perform)
7.THISHARA PERERA or MCKAY or RIMMINGTON (pacer we buy this time)/MURALI(in slow                 pitches)
8.DANIEL VETTORI
9.VINAY KUMAR
10.ZAHEER
11.ARAVIND/SYED MOHMMD/APPANA
i think we should go with this team as it has a great balance…if we play a foreign pacer,then syed mohmmd or appanna should be played…if we are playing murali,then aravind should be the local pacer….
also gayle can chip in a couple of ovrs….he seemed to bowl really well in kfc bbl when he got an opportunity to bowl….

Your list looks imprevious. But i will omit few more,

Saurabh Tiwary - He didnt do well in last IPL Season. I think we can get a better and far more explosive batsmen at a far lesser price

ZAK - He leaked lot of runs last IPL, He has had injury problems and a indifferent season. He isnt a great fielder nor a batsman who can contribute

Dan Vettori - Again injury concerns. Last season Murali was preferred over him and i think it will continue to happen.

Dilshan - Again inconsistent throughout last IPL.

Agree with u on Pujara, he is in the form of his life and we should believe in him in the shorter format as well.

Thisira Perrara, Maxwell, Ishank Jaggi, Dan Christian may be some of the players we want to get in ..

We need a bolwing allrounder, some one similair to pathan ..

Manpreet Gony is also a good option to consider

for fast bowler we should look dan christain. help to strong both batting and bowling. and its better of we get indian batsman

NOW HE IS PERFORMING WELL IN RANAJI. HE WILL BE EXPERIENCED AND I AM SURE HIS PLACE IS FIXED FOR IPL6.

HE WILL BOWL BETTER IN STARTING OVERS. HE SHOULD COMPLETE 4 OVER BEFORE 15TH OVER. HE IS NOT DEATH BOWLER.
  10)SYED MOHAMMAD/APPANNA
BOTH SPINNERS ARE GOOD.
  11)MURULIDHARAN
HAS TO BE PLAYED IN ALL MATCHES. HE CAN HANDY IN ANY PITCH. AS HE PROVED IN BBL. HE PLAYED 7 MATCHES AND COSTLIEST SPELL IS JUST 1/29 IN 4 OVERS. IT IS EXELLENT.

IN THIS TEAM WE HAVE BOTH COMBINATION OF BATSMAN, BOWLERS AND ALL ROUNDERS.

ya i agree getting dan christian…but he will certainly be costly and all teams will be buying him…he hasnt really been consistent in any leagues..and he is a very bad bowler at slog overs….i think thishara perera would be a better and cheaper buy…clint mckay,faulkner are other good buys…

Daniel Christian is a handy all-rounder but not consistent.
He sometimes plays very slowly and even is a very aggressive character.He has been indulged in few fights here and there in recent times.
I think he would not like to see Arun Karthik in the dressing room.
Jokes apart,I would say Thisara Perera would make a better choice as a pinch-hitter in the slog overs and turn his arms around.
Others buys might be Finch,O’Brien,Jacobs,Pankaj,Joginder Sharma,Mukund,etc.
