We have in our auction purse 2.8 mil us dollars. We have made three domestic buys…now going into the main auction i think the golden man is THISHARA PERERA…
and of late he has shown absolutely brilliant form in bbl and as well in international matches vs australia…he is a very handy allrounder ,who is very energetic in the field and shows real commitment allround…economical bowler and a strong middle order left hand batsamn…just what the doctor orderred for rcb…we need him desperately and we must be ready to buy him at any cost,because he will really add an awful lot too our team…we might also look to buy clint mckay or james faulkner or pankaj singh..
But we must buy Thishara perera at any cost…he is more consistent and farly much more reliable than Dan Christian or Johan botha or any other player in the auction…and i think all teams might be hoping to get Dan…great opportunity for us to get the golden man in the auction-Thishara Perera!!

Completely agree with u that Thisara Perera is a fantastic buy. But don’t even think that v will get him easily in d auction.
The franchises are much more brilliant than us. Maximum of them will try for him. He had a brilliant series vs Australia. Obviously he will b costly.
But Rcb should try its maximum to buy him. If not possible, then I think West Indian Dwayne Smith is also a good buy. He will perform the same role as of perera.

Agree. Thisara Perera is the man RCB should target in the auction. But I am doubtful if RCB can get him with the limited auction purse 2.8 mil us dollars. If he cant be bought then they should be looking at allrounders like Dwayne Smith, Steven Smith , Dan Christian or Scott Styris. Even Owais Shah wont be bad buy incase they are not able to get any of the allrounders I had listed.

Dwayne Smith is a medium fast bowling all rounder. Medium fast will be effective in t20 matches. Even perera is also a medium fast bowling all rounder.
