For people who are saying that Murali Karthik is not a good buy, I’d like to ask who iss the alternative ? Considering Vettori is not available, we need a leading spinner. Syed Mohammad is at best an economical option but he is never a threatening wiket taking option. Lesser said about Apanna the better. Conidering foreign player restriction, it might not always be feasible to play Murali. In that case who would be the lead spinner for RCB ? Also during interim transfers, you cant expect the likes of Ashwin/Ojha/Harbhajan/Mishra to be released. Between picking up an unknown spinner from domestic cricket and picking up Murali Karthik, I’d say Murali Karthik is a way better option
