When Rcb beat MI for the first time at home, it was by itself a great feat achieved. Although how it was achieved was what thrilled me. In previous editions RCB boasted of a dominating batting attack, while bowling was only upto standard. But the way they could defend a below par score of 156, was good to watch. While the highlight of the day was obviously Chris Gayle’s terrific innings, the fantastic commitment should by youngsters in the field must not go unnoticed. When the result went down to as many as two runs, you had to think of Unadkat’s dive to save a boundary at fine leg or Murali Karthik’s wonderful effort at third man to save two runs or Mayank Agarwal’s committed dive at midwicket… It was good to see the youngsters field well, by throwing themselves around and get us home!
GOOD JOB, aaaaaar ceeeeeeeee beeeeeeeeeee!
