I know he is not a wicket-taking bowler,but as far T20s go,we need a compact team.
Taking risk by dropping Murali or dropping Henriques for one match and Murali Kartik and making way for Vettori might be a good option.

What do you think guys???

Vettori while he was captain should have utilized the chances and come up on the batting.  Unfortunately he used to come down always at 7.  He could have tried something different like coming at 5 and pacing the innings.

So now its becoming difficult to fit him in the team unless he is a straight replacement for Muralidaran. With Murali Karthik being the other left arm spinner having two bowlers of same style would be predictable.  Thats the challenge.

there is no doubt Vettori is a genuine left arm spinner. He is one of d most respectable players cricket has ever seen.
He sat out of the team last season for good team composition being a captain. No words…

But coming to RCB team composition, where Gayle n ABD are fixed in paying 11, we have only 2 spaces available for others. Muralitharan is playing his part good. He is taking wickets and keeping the runs low. So it makes difficult to play two overseas spinners in d playing 11. Thats why RCB brought murali karthik.

Vettori will get to play in chennai as no Sri lankans are allowed there.

There is no harm in giving Vettori some chances against weaker teams like Pune and Kings X1 at the expense or Murali even though Murali has been bowling well for RCB. The reason is simple Vettori is a better batsman than Murali and this can play a big role in crunch matches or even in playoffs. By playing him against weaker teams we can assess his form and also give him some useful match practice. That way we can make a choice between Murali and Vettori when it comes to play off matches.

i seriously doubt vettori getting many chances with Kartik doing well(being a slow left arm bowler too)  and when we have immense bench strength in allrounders like Dan Christian,HEnriques, Chris Barnwell and the successful pacer RAvi RAmpaul..
