After the simmering heat of the previous weeks, the rain gods have finally smiled on us! With the heavy showers that Bangalore experienced over the last week, the Green Campaign of RCB has reason to cheer with another tree distribution drive on the cards. This time it is the students and the faculty of Stonehill International School, Bangalore who are supporting this Green Initiative. 1000 saplings were distributed to the school!! Of this, 500 saplings will be planted by the students themselves during this week. For each plant sapling, a student will make a hand-crafted pot and these pots will be lowered with the sapling into the ground to allow the sapling to continue its growth. The remaining 500 saplings will be planted by the school management as the May showers set in. RCB is delighted that the students of the school have come up with such innovative ideas to show their concern for Mother Earth! As the monsoon months approach us, we look forward to many more tree planting drives in different cities of Karnataka! Come and support us.. RCB is Game for Green, Are you....?
