The Tree Planting initiative launched by RCB has been welcomed by several schools and colleges in Karnataka. With the completion of a tree planting drive at Mandya, the next drive will be at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Shimoga, and The Holy Child English School in Bangalore on the 9th of February. At Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, the school authorities will assign a plant to each student, who in turn will nurture and take care of the sapling. At The Holy Child English School, the children eagerly want to take the tree saplings and plant it in their homes, or within their localities. It is heartening to see the young students of educational institutions take small but firm steps to improve the environment of their city. Do let us know if you want the tree planting drive to be held at your neighbourhood/ institution. RCB is Game for Green, Are you..?
