Here Comes the “namma metro” !!!   Finally the WAIT seems to be getting over. With our namma metro looking all set to take us for a ride on September 15. Travelling from MG Road to Baiyappappanahalli during rush hours takes its own sweet time,  the stretch of just around 7 kms can take upto 1 hour or even more. Now, no more hassles due to  traffic congestion, all you need to do is hop in the uber cool namma metro and reach from MG Road to Baiyappappanahalli in flat 13 minutes. Isn’t that awesome !!! royal challengers   Any average commuter is liable for several tons of carbon emissions every year; this affects the quality of air and climate change. The amount of emissions we emit is directly proportional to the way we commute. Driving in a car alone burns fuel and produces exhaust to move only one person. Taking a Public Transport or carpool emits just a fraction of carbon emissions per person to cover the same distance.   Emissions are worst when the number of vehicles on roads is the highest — during rush hours. As the roads in Bangalore are not designed to take on heavy traffic, “Traffic Decongestion” was the Prime Aim behind namma metro.   So, RCBians lets leave our cars at home and take the Namma Metro with Pride and do our bit to reduce the Carbon Footprint. I am already excited to see a different view of my beloved city Bangalore. Hope to catch up with you on Namma Metro wink.  Namma Metro Route Map.   royal challengers
