Saturday, 12th of February, was an eventful day for RCB! RCB held a tree plantation drive at the Government Kannada Higher Secondary School, along with the prize distribution ceremony for the winners of the BUS DAY and Solar Water Heater initiatives for the month of January. The tree plantation drive was held in the school grounds with the help of Lions and Leo Club of Bangalore West (who have adopted the school and also supported RCB in many of the Go Green Initatives). More than 35 saplings were planted on that day with the joint effort of students, RCB supporters, prize winners, as well as the Lions Club members ( a great deal of calories were burnt with all the digging and planting..!!) The tree planting drive was followed by the prize distribution ceremony (no blaring of trumpets!; just a cozy and informal ceremony...) All the Bangalore winners had attended the event. We thank them, as well as all the other winners and participants of RCB's Green Initiatives..! It was truly a memorable day for all of us and we look forward to many more events like this in the coming weeks..! RCB is Game for Green, Are you...?
