In continuation to our guide to green living for our fans,
today we recommend the following:
“Use light colors for painting your walls, ceilings and
floors”
Light color plays a very important role in bringing down
electricity bill of the house. Light colored paint reflects light whereas dark
colored paint absorbs light. Hence, painting walls, ceilings and floors with
light colored paint can reduce the artificial lighting requirements of the
house. So, keep this in mind when ever there is a renovation happening at your
home.
We would also like to remind our fans that your active
involvement, participation, and support is at the heart of RCB’s green
initiatives. The green initiatives at RCB are for the fans, of the fans and by
the fans. After a long break, it’s time for you all to get back into the
driver’s seat and guide the green initiatives by posting your comments,
suggestions and feedback.
