Returning to RCB this year is Harshal Patel. With his outstanding Ranji record, Harshal is slowly becoming a trusted hand in the first class cricketing world. A right-arm seamer, Harshal Patel took 23 wickets in the 2008-09 Under-19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy. He was named in the U-19 squad for the 2010 World Cup in New Zealand. Harshal moved to Haryana and in 2011-12 Ranji Trophy season, and made an immediate impact on debut, running through Karnataka and Rajasthan with consecutive eight-fors in the quarter-final and semi-final.
