Looking Back, RCB had a great start to the tournment, except for the first match against KKR, nd the only team to defeat mumbai in the first playoff, nd also the only team to beat mumbai in mumbai, through out the tournment xcept for the finals which was held in Navi Mumbai.
The Highs were:-
Kallis had a great start to the tournament as he was undefeated for the first 4 innings.
Unarguably the best batting line up in the Ipl, when Rahul Dravid is coming at NO 7 then u can imagine how deep the batting is.
RCB had the fastest bowler in the tournament in Dale Steyn, nd the most experienced and economical bowler in their skipper Anil Kumble.
The Lows were :-
The centurion of the second season Manish Pandey, failed to live up to the expectations, apart from couple of innings his contribution to the team was poor.
Eoin Morgan couldn't utilize his opportunity given to him.

PHASE 1 : Naveen Kumar B's review for rc's performance
PHASE 2 : Naveen Kumar B's review for rc's performance
The second phase was exactly opposite from the first phase in terms of win /loss record for RCB.
This Phase will be remembered only for the wrong reasons , which also led into the semis being shifted
out of bangalore to Navi Mumbai.
Rcb couldnt get its revenge in this phase as they lost out to Deccan Chargers not once but twice. & they
were also denied to end up the table in the second place by Mumbai.
GOOD
Robin Uthappa continued his blitzkrieg form though out the phase
Anil Kumble lead from the front and was the most economical bowler through out this phase
Vinay Kumar chipped in with wickets and was always in the contender for the purple cap
BAD
Ross Taylor couldnt live up to his expectations, and also couldnt carry his recent form from his home series against Aussies.
Kallis lost his orange cap and also lowered his batting stirke-rate which cost RCB
Droping their most costliest player Kevin Peterson for couple of matches, when they could ve kept Ross Taylor out as
he was out form, or they could ve couraged to drop Kallis ( though he won the most consistent performer ) to accommodate KP
UGLY
The incident which challenged the IPL security, and the sad thing was it happened in the garden city, forcing the
authorities to postpone the match for one hour. and later shifting the semi-final venue out of the city.
( The city which won for best stadium experience )
The ugly spat between Kevin Peterson and Virat Kolhi on the 22 yards pitch when the entire world were watching them.
( but the good thing was they patched up in just 20 mins, and showed the world the teams unity)
