It was a disappointing start losing to KKR but the "MEN IN RED" had kept their cool and won four matches consecutively. But the last two losses had once again disappointed us, the fans. Robin Uthappa and Rahul Dravid were outstanding, and in the bowling captain-cool Anil Kumble and Vinay kumar did a great job. Jacques Kallis has been mind-blowing with his all-round performance. I think this excellent performance can be given four out of five stars **** .

The RCB had disappointed us by losing four matches out of seven (in the 2nd phase). But the run-rate showed that the team tried their level best for it kept us in the top four in the IPL points table. The bowlers showed a disappointing performance. The foreign players except Kevin Pietersen were not up to the mark. We missed Mark Boucher but Robin Uthappa did a good job behind the stumps. the fielding was not good as there many catches dropped. Just three stars out of five***.

We had hope of defeating the MI but they had to continue their form. We could not make it to our second consecutive final. Thus all our hopes rested on the 3rd/4th place playoff in the team to qualify for the CLT20. The performance was excellent. DC were all out for 82!!! Anil Kumble did a great job with 4 wickets to his name. The batsmen also gave a good start and thus we got a well deserved victory. We were thinking why this performance had not come up in the semifinal??? Best players of the tournament: J. Kallis, R. Uthappa, K. Pietersen, A. Kumble, R. Dravid & I just love Vinay Kumar.
